A Wisconsin native, Mary Gauerke has called Tennessee home since 2002. As a marketing manager for the City of Gallatin supporting Parks and Recreation, she has embraced the role of raising money for the beloved Miracle Park project (all-inclusive playground, ball field and pedal park). Being a mom of a special needs child, Mary knows the importance of this park to the City of Gallatin and Sumner County. Mary is very active in her church, St. Timothy Lutheran in Hendersonville as well as a board member of the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce, Gallatin Senior Council, Sumner County 4-H Leader and Team Mom for Hendersonville Spartans Ladies Lacrosse team. Ms. Gauerke is a lover of pets which prompted her to plan the Pawpalooza Pet Festival through Gallatin Parks and Recreation to celebrate pets and music here in Gallatin. Mary loves kids and now she is writing and illustrating a children's book series that help kids deal with topics they may struggle with in childhood.
