Ribbon Cutting: Sumner Center
When it comes to #DoGoodGallatin, we're always looking for new ways to give back, and a few weeks ago, we were able to celebrate something HUGE right here in #GallatinTN.
This new facility exists to equip and empower individuals and families to become stable and thrive in their daily lives. With four different focuses - Life in Crisis, Life in Transition, Life Thriving, and Life with Special Needs - they seek to serve families who are striving for long-term stability but are working through challenging life situations.
Offering services such as job skills and interview training, individual and family budgeting, free dental days, a working food pantry, and even free legal services through Compassionate Counsel, as well as programming designed for the special needs community, this space brings a slew of much-needed resources to Sumner County. In addition to the work the center is doing on their own, they have also developed partnerships with other non-profits in Sumner County including Stay Warm Shelter of Gallatin and Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County.
We are so excited to officially welcome The Sumner Center at NorthField Church to Gallatin and can't wait to see all the good that comes from their organization. Stop by to visit at 2100B Nashville Pike
