Meet Our Staff: Megan Lange

It's #MeetTheTeamMonday, and today - meet our Program & Communication Coordinator, Megan Lange!
Megan Lange has been a part of the Gallatin Chamber team since October of 2019 and is currently serving as the programming and communications coordinator.

Born and raised just outside of Knoxville, TN, Megan moved to Gallatin the day before the eclipse in 2017 and never looked back. Although she moved to Gallatin to work in the events industry, she quickly fell in love with the local community and, after becoming involved with the Chamber, found a position at the Chamber to be a natural fit.

Megan comes to the Gallatin Chamber with a B.A. in Technical Communications from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville and a background in nonprofit fundraising and events, but her real passion is connecting people. At the Chamber, she manages the Moonlight Market, the Gallatin Young Professionals, Gallatin Grub, and handles much of the social media and video presence. In a volunteer capacity, she acts as the President of the Gallatin Arts Council, serves on the fundraising committee for Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County, and is on the board of the Sumner County Museum.

In her spare time, Megan travels the southeast with her jazz band Megan & Her Goody Goodies, works in her garden, and spends time with her husband Nick and her four cats: Arugula, Asparagus, Honeysuckle, and Olive. Megan is also a Type One Diabetic and is an advocate for T1Ds everywhere. She is so happy to call Gallatin home!

Megan's quirky style and love of cats keep us on our toes at the office, and we're SO glad she's here!
