Gallatin Grub: Mary's Place
It's Monday, and you know what that means - time for a #GrinBehindtheGrub! Today, meet the owners of Mary's Place, The Clarks: Michael (Bubba), along with Renee Clark (pictured here with son, Tyler, and Gallatin City Councilman Jimmy Overton).
Mary's Place, located on 804 N Water, has been owned by the Clarks since 2013. Prior to 2013, Mary's Place was owned by Clark's mother-in-law, Mary Lucille Clark - and when Mary passed away, Renee, who has been in the restaurant industry since the early 1990s, stepped in to keep things going. For the Clarks, running a restaurant had always been a family affair, and Renee has kept that tradition going strong!
When it comes to good southern cooking, Mary's Place takes the cake (literally). Their meat-and-threes, which change every day, always come with a free dessert and a big smile, and one look at their chalkboard menu will have your mouth watering. What about breakfast, you ask? No worries there - Mary's Place is KNOWN for their top-notch diner breakfasts, featuring perfectly crisped bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and enough coffee to wake up even the sleepiest sleepyhead!
At the Chamber office, we're big fans of their breakfasts, and you MAY even see us in there two days in a row... it's just that good!
