Meet our Members: Iron Lotus Gym
This weeks member spotlight is Iron Lotus Gym. You might know owner, Sandy Hughes because of the awesome warmup she did for our Shamrock Runners this year. Even in the rain, Sandy is committed to having FUN and focusing on all aspects of health. Classes at Iron Lotus Gym are designed to help their clients physically transform using a combination of body weight movements, cardiovascular training, & traditional exercises to get in the best shape of their lives! Morning, afternoon and evening classes include fitness kickboxing, mixed martial arts, pound (fitness drumming), circuit training, yoga, sword fitness, dance, tai chi, and boot camp classes. Iron Lotus Gym also has weight training and personal training available. They have a complete program for supporting their clients on their quest for physical transformation. They offer personalized lifestyle coaching to assist with the mental and emotional aspects of weight loss as well as nutritional therapy. The gym started with just their owner, Sandy Hughes, but it has grown in the past three years and they now have seven fitness instructors. While Iron Lotus is seeing their business grow, Sandy says the best thing about having a business in Gallatin is the sense of community and although it is growing, it still maintains a hometown atmosphere. She believes the people of Gallatin truly are some of the nicest people in the world!
