Gallatin Grub: Alberto's

On this Giving Tuesday, let's meet another Grin Behind the Grub! Today, we'd like to introduce Fernanda and Dennis Caron, the owners of Alberto's!

If you've ever taken a drive down Douglas Bend, you might have noticed an old farmhouse with beautiful lights and a lovely tree-filled lawn. This quaint building is known by locals as Alberto's, the place to go for a cozy dinner out (or brunch with the gals!).

Alberto's, which opened on January 3rd, 2019, is located at 210 Douglas Bend Road. Springing from a catering business run by owner and Chef Fernanda Caron, their menu is expansive and features both European and Brazilian cuisine in addition to a mouthwatering selection of homemade desserts. 

In the midst of restaurant closures this spring, Alberto's did a quick pivot and served up incredible to-go food, with curbside pickup literally at their front door. In fact, they even added delicious homemade pizzas to their menu - perfect for dinner for the whole family! That being said, if we had to pick a favorite item on the menu, it would be the chicken and palmito pastel with extra green sauce and an order of the pao de queijo - and we can't forget to mention their phenomenal creme brulee or tasty macarons!

Although their hours are subject to change, they are currently open for dinner on Tuesday through Thursday, lunch and dinner Friday and Saturday, and brunch on Sunday. For updated hours, visit their website at www.albertos.us.
