Meet Our Board: Sara Bratten

Sara Bratten has been working in Gallatin for 9 year at Sumner Regional Medical Center, as the Manager of Occupational Health and Outreach. Before working in Gallatin, she worked in Cool Springs for 4 years as a certified health coach for Healthways (now Sharecare) and in Hendersonville for 14 years as the Head Coach and Pool Manager for Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club. Sara grew up in Hendersonville and then attended Auburn University where she received her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and Psychology. Sara then went on to receive her Masters in Sport Administration and Marketing from Georgia Southern University. She has served for 9 years on the Sumner County Health Committee and been an integral part of helping plan for Walk Across Sumner. Sara is a United Way Allocations Volunteer, serves on the Gallatin High School Health Sciences Advisory Board, the Station Camp High School Career and Technical Advisory Panel, and the Sumner Regional Medical Center Cancer Committee. She also is a Silver and Gold Award recipient for the Girl Scouts of America. In addition to her community involvement through work and personal outreach, you can find Sara out at Lock 4 Park with her husband (Tyler), toddler daughter (Avery Jane), and beagle (Daisy) on the weekends in the spring! In the fall, Sara and her family attend all Auburn Football games, and on off weekends, you will find her at one of the many Gallatin or Sumner County fall events!
