Gallatin Chamber Foundation

The Gallatin Chamber Foundation is the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce’s 501(c)3 component to encourage, promote, and support innovative enhancement projects and creative initiatives within the City of Gallatin.

The Gallatin Chamber Foundation annually funds innovative education programs in Gallatin K-12 schools through the Innovation and Enhancement Awards. Since 2014, the Gallatin Chamber Foundation has presented over $120,000 to Gallatin schools.

In 2020, the Gallatin Chamber Foundation expanded its awards to include scholarships for graduating seniors to honor the late Jim Hawkins, a champion for education and the Gallatin area. The James B. Hawkins Good Neighbor Scholarship is available to seniors at Gallatin High School and Station Camp High School who exemplify the traits of a good citizen.

The James B Hawkins Good Neighbor Scholarship

The James B. Hawkins Good Neighbor Scholarship is available to seniors at Gallatin High School, Liberty Creek High School, and Station Camp High School who exemplify the traits of a good citizen.

This award recognizes and rewards individuals who possess the qualities of integrity, leadership, service, and good moral character in their school and community. These students are nominated by their teachers, counselors, and peers because they exemplify the qualities of a good citizen.

Grants: Classroom Innovation and Enhancement Awards

Gallatin Chamber Foundation Classroom Innovation and Enhancement Awards are awarded each fall to Gallatin K-12 public school teachers to use for special projects in their classrooms.

Annually, the Gallatin Chamber Foundation sponsors the Gallatin Shamrock Run, in which all proceeds are used to help fund the awards. Since the Foundation’s inception, we have distributed over $75,000 to local Gallatin educators.
